Startup - 3 Phases of Construction
The startup funding needed for this project is $280,000. This startup funding will be collected through grass roots, "many hands" donations as well as preselling vacation spaces and corporate sponsors. Since the lodge has been designed to be a financially self sustaining operation, this funding will only be used for startup.
Funding will be accomplished in three steps to match the three phases of the project. The steps are:
Phase 1 at $105,000 - site preparation and utilities
Phase 2 at $80,000 - main lodge, pavillion and common spaces
Phase 3 at $95,000 - individual cabins and furnishings.

Ongoing Operations - Day to Day
Rental of vacation cabins at a 50% occupancy rate will pay for all ongoing operation expenses. No additional funding will be required for day to day operating of the lodge. Special events and future facility expansion will be funded as the need arises or through cancer support groups and organizations.
